Day Two: Organize your desk

Day two of the organizing challenge over at A Bowl Full of Lemons is to organize your desk. This one was a little challenging for me since right now my desk is currently sitting on the deck. Trying to organize in the midst of a remodeling project may be a bit difficult.

So right now the kitchen table has become my temporary desk. I actually cleaned it off a little bit last week and got rid of the thousands of receipts that had managed to find their way under the monitor.

This challenge should actually be a weekly challenge for me. My desk is always a mess. Stuff just sort of migrates there. Last summer I went to town cleaning and organizing it. I even got some little drawers for all the paper clips and pens and whatnot. But then I discovered I had no less than three hundred and fifty three pads of Post-Its. Where were those supposed to go?! My love for office supplies is proving to be a problem.

Anyway, this actually wasn't that bad. It took me less than ten minutes and I even cleaned the window sill behind my computer.

Much better. And isn't Charlie cute?
