We took a trip to Cannon Beach on Sunday. We needed to get out of the house and just do nothing. The weather was supposed to be a little rainy but ended up being just perfect. It's early in the year and it wasn't hot so there weren't a ton of people on the beach--just the way I like it. We started at one end and walked the length of the beach for awhile, watching the waves and the people and the dogs.
Going through town looking for some grub we stopped to fall into some of the tourist traps along the way. We end up bringing home an ungodly amount of saltwater taffy and some treats for our spoiled puppies.
It was just what we needed. I can't wait to go again when it gets a little warmer. Only downside is all the other people who will be going too.
